Kate Rowell @jellybean_junction

When did you learn to crochet, and why do you love it so much?

I learnt how to crochet in 2015, I find it very relaxing and love how creative you can be with such simple stitches.

What is your favourite thing to make? Which project are you most proud of?

I love designing and making blankets. The project I’m most proud of is my Confetti Waves Blanket as it was my first successful pattern.

What is your top tip for new crocheters?

Keep it simple and practice the same stitch until you’ve mastered it.

What would you like to try, but haven’t yet?

Tunisian crochet.

Any big crochet plans for 2020?

I am working on a few secret projects 😉 I also plan on sharing more free patterns on my blog.

Where can people find out more about you?

I can be found on Instagram @jellybean_junction and on my blog www.blog.jellybeanjunction.co.uk

I’ve been following @jellybean_ junction on Instagram for some time now and love the rainbow colours she uses in her designs – hoping the yarns in Box 9 will reflect this and excited to see her design for it.
