Hi! What are you up to today?
I’ve been working on some sewing, making sweatshirts for myself and my daughter with lovely snuggly fleece!
This month we’re looking to the stars – what’s your star sign and do you think it’s reflected in your crochet?
My star sign is Aries the ram – apparently, I’m stubborn, and I think it shows in my crochet cos I won’t give up when I can’t work out a stitch!
What is your favourite type of project to crochet?
I love doing amigurumi! They’re so cute and quick to make.
Where’s your favourite place to crochet?
I’m usually curled up on the sofa with a granny stripe blanket over me.
Which of your crochet projects are you proudest of?
I’m most proud of the cat sofa that I’m making currently – it’s such a fun project and it’s going to look great when it’s finished!
What’s the biggest challenge you’ve ever faced with your crochet?
Trying to read charts – can’t say I’ve fully mastered it but it’s a work in progress.
What’s the best piece of crochet advice you’ve ever received?
To read the pattern through and test out stitches before starting.
It’s been a difficult year for many of us – what would you say to any crocheters out there who are having a hard time?
Spring is coming, light evenings and sunshine will help. Hopefully there’s light at the end of the tunnel!
Do you have any big crochet plans coming up?
I’m designing a collection of amirugumi toys.
