Hi! What are you up to today?
I’m currently finishing some baby cardigans following an appeal on one of the social media channels for a baby clothing bank for preemies, it makes me very happy to be able to help.
This month we’re looking to the stars – what’s your star sign and do you think it’s reflected in your crochet?
I’m a Libra so always weighing up all the options!
What is your favourite type of project to crochet?
Oh my, so many!!! I do have a soft spot for baby makes, such as blankets, hats and comforters 😊
Where’s your favourite place to crochet?
My chaise longue and snuggled up in my lovely Crochet Society blanket I made over Christmas
Which of your crochet projects are you proudest of?
For sure the blanket from the Crochet Society advent calendar as most of the stitches were completely new to me so it felt quite an accomplishment to have finished that project!
What’s the biggest challenge you’ve ever faced with your crochet?
I’m always trying new stitches and new patterns so at times it gets a bit tricky to finish all the projects I start, I guess I can’t help it, I just love to crochet!!
What’s the best piece of crochet advice you’ve ever received?
Perseverance, specially at the start of my crochet journey, and the invaluable help from the super easy to follow tutorials from Bella Coco 😊
It’s been a difficult year for many of us – what would you say to any crocheters out there who are having a hard time?
Being able to crochet specially during these hard times I feel incredibly lucky and I believe it’s important to focus on staying positive and that things will get better soon.
Do you have any big crochet plans coming up?
I would love to share even more my passion for Crochet with others so perhaps when things get back to some normality I will have the opportunity to do that with friends and family 😊
