Making up This is time-consuming so take your time and have lots of patience! If you didn’t stuff as you went along, stuff all pieces. Use photograph as a guide for all parts of making up. Sew Ears together in pairs to make two Ears and sew each to either side of Head. Sew two Horns to back of Head and one to centre front. Sew a Nostril to either side of the end of Nose, approximately 5 rnds up from beg. Thread needle with D.
Mark centre front of Body (join runs down the back). Starting 8 rnds down from top of Body and working in chain stitch, embroider 5 horizontal lines approximately 6 rnds apart across the tummy section, beg by working across centre 12 dc then 14 dc, 16 dc, 18 dc and 20 dc. Embroider vertical lines using chain st on either side of five horizontal lines.
Sew Head onto Body. With D, over-sew three sections on the base of the hands for claws. Sew one arm to either side of Body at shoulder height. Sew Foot Pads onto the base of Legs. With D, over sew claws onto Foot Pads. Remembering the dragon is in a sitting position, sew one Leg to either side of Body. With D, embroider two vertical lines onto Wings. Sew one Wing to either side of Body. With D, embroider lines around Tail at every 6 rnds.
Sew Tail to back of Body. Sew two Bobbles onto Back and three onto Tail. Stuff as you go by teasing out little bits of stuffing at a time to ensure a smooth and lump-free shape.
