I learned to crochet around 15 years ago because I was desperate to crochet Pokemon amigurumi! Since then, I somehow landed my dream job of editing Crochet Now magazine, then moving onto working to grow Crochet Society. My days are fuelled by coffee and chocolate.
I can't wait to customise my keys with some new keyrings - 'Captain Hook' is my favourite!
Hi, i'm Gemma! I've always got a cosy crochet jumper on my hook, and I love picking new colour palettes for my projects. I'm probably the most excited person in the team when new things come into the office - show me a lush new ball of yarn anyday!

Hey! I’m Lou and I’m obsessed with crochet. You’ll often find me under a blanket on the sofa attached to my hook, making something silly to sell at a market or online. I love taking videos behind the scenes even if my team are a little bit shy, and I am determined to embarrass them (even if just a little bit).
I love our colourful new stitch markers, and can’t wait to use them on all of my (many) WIPs!
I haven't learned how to crochet yet, but following along with the development of these new Situation-kits, I'm excited to give one ago - it's got to be Riccardo the Chameleon for me, almost my namesake! What I don't know in crochet though I make up for in behind-the-scenes tech wizardry!
