What is your favourite type of project to crochet?
I love to crochet amigurumi! Any and all cute animals and dolls are my favorite!
What inspired your design for this box?
I’ve always wanted to design a cute amigurumi butterfly and when I saw the colors for this box, I knew it was time! It was the perfect opportunity to design something I’d imagined for quite some time.
Which of your crochet projects are you proudest of?
I think the projects I’m proudest of would be my giant amigurumi! They aren’t my favorite thing I’ve ever designed but they were my biggest accomplishment and I’m very proud of them! The theme of this box is the joy of Autumn (or fall for our friends over the pond!).
What’s your favourite thing about this time of year?
This has always been my favorite time of year! I love everything about it! The cooler weather, getting together with family, baking, and the good memories attached to this time of year.
Tell us something unexpected about yourself!
I don’t know how to crochet a magic circle/ring! I’ve always thought it was unnecessarily complicated when easier methods existed!
What’s the best piece of crochet advice you’ve ever received?
That everyone has their own style whether they recognize it or not. We all search for our own style, but what most people don’t realize is that they already have their own style! And as long as you’re creating what you want to, your own unique style will shine through!
Where’s your favourite place to crochet?
On my couch at home! I’m surrounded by everything I need (including all my yarn!) and have all the comforts of home.
Do you have any big crochet plans coming up this year?
Nothing big this year. With everything going on, I’ve been taking it easy! I hope to put out some more new patterns before the end of the year.
