What is your favourite type of project to crochet?
Shawls, I love them. They are the perfect accessory and I always have one on.
Which of your crochet projects are you proudest of?
My new book Crocheted Wreaths for the Home– I poured my love into every project and I’m very proud of it.
What are your favourite yarns to work with?
I love Rowan Kidsilk Haze – any combination of silk and mohair lace weight yarn – it is just so beautiful. It takes a while to get used to crocheting with, it but wooden hooks really help and all your efforts are rewarded greatly with the gorgeous finished project, the halo is just divine. Pure wool or alpaca are great to crochet with as well. I especially adore using them for amigurumi projects

When I was six years old I lost my hearing and speech due to going into shock after an accident. It all recovered eventually, but the stutter remains

Lots, I have been designing and making like a woman possessed lately, making lots of projects ready for September, so watch this space
