Day 4 – completing & joining hexagons

Rnd 7: Join new colour (C4) with a standing dc in the first ch in any corner, 2 ch, 1 dc in 2nd corner ch, *10 dc in BLO, 1 dc in first corner ch, 2 ch, 1 dc in 2nd corner ch; rep from * 4 times more, 10 dc in BLO, join with sl st to beg dc. 72 sts (12 sts each side & 6 corner 2ch-sps)

Rnd 8: 1 ch (does not count as st), *1 dc into 2ch-sp, 2 ch, 12 dc in BLO; rep from * 5 times more, join to beg dc with an invisible join. Fasten off. Note: Final dc will be made into the sl st at the end of Rnd 7. 78 sts (13 sts each side & 6 corner 2ch-sps)

Hexagon measures 15cm side to side

Joining: Hold 2 different coloured hexagons with RS tog and join 1 edge with a row of sl sts through outer loops only of both hexagons at the same time (outer loop is the back loop of each hexagon when viewed from its RS), starting and ending in a corner ch st. 15 sl sts Rep for rem hexagons, making sure they are arranged in a row of alternating colours.
