With this small semi-automatic knitting mill from Rico Design, even primary school children can knit colourful tubes, perfect for use as lettering on your handmade crochet projects or for making coasters and placemats. Simply guide the thread through the lower and outer thread guide, then let it slide through the middle shaft of the knitting mill. The hook sequence only needs to be followed on the first round; after that, you can simply turn the crank. Thanks to the weight provided, the tube slides out of the bottom of the mill. Once the desired length is reached, the tube can be processed further. For beautiful standalone lettering, it’s best to use a sturdy wire.
