FREE PATTERN: Chunky Crochet Baskets
We're so excited to be able to bring you this free crochet pattern by Kate Rowell of Jellybean Junction. Kate is a fantastic designer who has a wonderful way with colour. She's used Cygnet Seriously Chunky yarn to create a pair of quick and easy storage baskets.
You will only need to know how to work chains, a magic circle, double crochet and slip stitch to create these fantastic accessories for your home.

YOU WILL NEED Cygnet Seriously Chunky Prints 100g - 4 x Hummingbird, 4 x Nightjar 12mm crochet hook.

Using 1 strand or each colour held together make a mc
Rnd 1: Woking into the mc, dc6, ss to 1st st. 6 sts
Rnd 2: 1ch, 2dc in each st around, ss to 1st st. 12 sts
Rnd 3: 1ch, *2dc in next st, dc1; repeat from * around, ss to 1st st. 18 sts
Rnd 4: 1ch, *2dc in next st, dc2; repeat from * around, ss to 1st st. 24 sts
Rnd 5: 1ch, *2dc in next st, dc3; repeat from * around, ss to 1st st. 30 sts
Rnd 6: 1ch, *2dc in next st, dc4; repeat from * around, ss to 1st st. 36 sts
Rnd 7: 1ch, dc around in blo, ss to 1st st. 36 sts
