Head
Rnd 1: With 2.5mm crochet hook and A, 6 dc into a magic ring.
Rnd 2: 2 dc in each st around. 12 sts
Rnd 3: <2 dc in next st, 1 dc> around. 18 sts
Rnds 4 & 5: Dc around. Change to B in the last st of Rnd 5.
Rnds 6 & 7: Dc around. Change to C in the last st of Rnd 7.
Rnds 8 & 9: Dc around. Change to A in the last st of Rnd 9.
Rnd 10: <2 dc in next st, 2 dc> around. 24 sts
Rnd 11: <2 dc in next st, 3 dc> around. 30 sts Change to B in the last st of Rnd 11.

Arms
Rnd 1: With 2.5mm crochet hook and A, 6 dc into magic ring.
Rnd 2: 2 dc in each st around. 12 sts Change to B in the last st of Rnd 2.
Rnds 3-6: Dc around. Change to C in the last st of Rnd 6. Stuff firmly at this point.
Rnd 7: Dc2tog around. 6 sts
Rnds 8 & 9: Dc around. Fasten off yarn, sew to top of body using image as a guide.
Mane
With 5mm hook, holding A, B and C together, chain 13.
Rnd 1: Starting in the 2nd ch from hook, loop stitch across. Fasten off yarn . Sew onto head down the middle and back. With scissors, cut loops.
Finishing
With black embroidery thread and sewing needles, embroider nose and mouth as shown. Make a tail by holding three strands of B together, then chain 5 with 5mm hook. Fasten off and sew to back body.
