The colours in this shawl were inspired by Beaulieu, a small village located on the southeastern edge of the New Forest national park in Hampshire.

Tools & materials

Yarn used West Yorkshire Spinners Colour Lab 2 balls in Silver Grey 137 (A) 1 ball each in Aqua Green 705 (B) & Deep Teal 716 (C)

About the yarn DK; 225m per 100g ball; 100% British wool

Tension 12 tr and 8 rows = 10cm measured over main body after blocking.

Hook used 6mm

Sizing Top curve: 188cm Bottom curve: 297cm At the deepest point: 52cm

Special abbreviations

Cluster (cl): *Yrh, insert hook in indicated st, yrh, pul; rep from * twice more in same st, yrh, draw through all 7 loops on hook.

3rd loop: The third loop is located on the back of the htr, directly below the back loop. Work stitches into this loop as directed.

Start crocheting

Except for the first and last st, always work into the 3rd loop after all htr rows.
