Yarn used West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4-ply 2 balls in Rum Paradise 822 (MC) 1 ball each in Butterscotch 240 (CC1), Bubblegum 360 (CC2) & Sarsaparilla 545 (CC3)

About the yarn 4-ply; 400m per 100g ball; 75% wool, 25% nylon

Tension 21 sts x 27 rows = 10cm measured over dc in BLO before blocking

Hook used 4mm

Sizing 170cm long, 85cm across last row

Special stitches

Triple treble (trtr): Yrh 3 times, insert hook in indicated st, yrh, pul, [yrh, draw through 2 loops on hook] 4 times

Extended double crochet (edc): Insert hook in indicated st, yrh, pul, yrh, draw through 1 loop on hook, yrh, draw though both loops on hook

Fan: *<1 tr, 1 ch> in next tr; rep from * 6 times, 1 tr in next tr

Start crocheting With MC, chain 4.

Row 1: Starting in 2nd ch from hook, 3 dc. Turn. 3 sts

Row 2: Dc in BLO across to last st, 2 dc in BLO of last st. Turn. 4 sts

Row 3: Dc in BLO across. Turn.

Rows 4-31: Rep rows 2-3 fourteen more times. 18 sts

Row 32: Change to CC1, 4 ch (counts as 1 trtr now and throughout), trtr across to last st, 2 trtr in last st. Turn. 19 sts

Row 33: 1 edc in each sp between sts, 1 edc in top of beg 4 ch. Turn. 19 sts

Rows 34-63: Change to MC, rep rows 2-31. 34 sts When working colour block rows, use the same colour for as many sets as indicated between MC blocks, changing colour in CC1, CC2, CC3 order.

Colour block rows (one set):

Change to next CC, rep rows 32-33. 35 sts Rep rows 34-63 once, then one set of colour block rows. 51 sts

[Rep rows 34-63 once, then two sets of colour block rows] 3 times. 102 sts

[Rep rows 34-63 once, then three sets of colour block rows] twice. 138 sts

Rep rows 34-63 once. 153 sts

Fasten off.

Lace Border

Row 1:  Change to CC3, 6 ch (counts as 1 tr and 3 ch), miss next 3 sts, 1 dc, 5 ch, miss 3 sts, 1 dc, *6 ch, miss 5 sts, 1 dc, 5 ch, miss 3 sts, 1 dc; rep from * across to last 4 sts, miss 3 sts, 3 ch, 1 tr in last st. 31 ch-sps

Row 2: 1 ch (does not count as a st now and throughout), 1 dc, miss 3ch-sp, 11 tr in next 5ch-sp, *1 dc in next 6ch-sp, 11 tr in next 5ch-sp; rep from * across to 3ch-sp, miss 3ch-sp, 1 dc in 3rd ch of beg 6 ch. 181 sts

Row 3: 4 ch (counts as dtr), miss next 2 sts, fan, *miss next 5 sts, fan; rep from * across to last 2 tr, miss 2 tr, 1 dtr in last dc. 15 fans

Row 4: 1 ch, 1 dc, *1 ch, <1 dc in next 1ch-sp, 5 ch> 5 times, 1 dc in next 1ch-sp, 1 ch, 1 dc between fans; rep from * to end placing last dc in top of beg 4 ch. 106 sts Fasten off.

Finishing Weave in all ends but do not cut. Block to dimensions given. Cut woven-in ends after blocking.
