Day 8 – Overlay Mosaic
Notes All rows are worked with the RS facing you, so you will need to cut yarn at the end of every row. Do not change colours within each row, the first colour shown in each row shows which colour to use all the way across the row, the colours on the chart are just to give you an idea how the finished design will look.
Row 1: Join new colour (C8) with a standing dc, *4 dc in BLO, 1 FLtr2d, 3 dc in BLO; rep from * to last 2 sts, 1 dc in BLO, 1 dc. Fasten off. 171 sts
Row 2: Join C7 with a standing dc, *3 FLtr2d, 3 dc in BLO, 2 FLtr2d; rep from * to last 2 sts, 1 FLtr2d, 1 dc. Fasten off.
Row 3: Join C8 with a standing dc, *3 dc in BLO, 3 FLtr2d, 2 dc in BLO; rep from * to last 2 sts, 1 dc in BLO, 1 dc. Fasten off.
Row 4: Join C7 with a standing dc, *2 FLtr2d, 5 dc in BLO, 1 FLtr2d; rep from * to last 2 sts, 1 FLtr2d, 1 dc. Fasten off.
Row 5: Join C8 with a standing dc, *2 dc in BLO, 2 FLtr2d, 1 dc in BLO, 2 FLtr2d, 1 dc in BLO; rep from * to last 2 sts, 1 dc in BLO, 1 dc. Fasten off.
Row 6: Join C7 with a standing dc, *1 FLtr2d, 3 dc in BLO; rep from * to last 2 sts, 1 FLtr2d, 1 dc. Fasten off.
Row 7: Join C8 with a standing dc, *1 dc in BLO, 2 FLtr2d, 3 dc in BLO, 2 FLtr2d; rep from * to last 2 sts, 1 dc in BLO, 1 dc. Fasten off.
Row 8: Join C7 with a standing dc, *4 dc in BLO, 1 FLtr2d, 3 dc in BLO; rep from * to last 2 sts, 1 dc in BLO, 1 dc. Fasten off.
Row 9: Join C8 with a standing dc, *2 FLtr2d, 5 dc in BLO, 1 FLtr2d; rep from * to last 2 sts, 1 FLtr2d, 1 dc. Fasten off.
