Edging: *1 ch, <1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc> in last st, PM in ch-sp to mark corner, rotate piece and continue down edge of blanket as follows: <1 ch, 1 dc> approximately 40 times, spreading sts evenly down to the bottom of part 5 (Note: this will be approximately 2 dc in every 3 rows of dc, or 3 dc in every 2 rows of tr) Working along edge of hexagon: 1 ch, 1 dc in 2nd corner ch, <1 ch, miss 1 st, 1 dc in BLO, 1 ch, miss 1 st, 1 dc in BLO> 4 times, <1 ch, 1 dc> approximately 40 times, spreading sts evenly to end, working final dc in first st of final row of day 14 (at base of 2 ch), 1 ch, join with sl st to beg ch of day 14. Fasten off. PM in ch-sp for corner. approximately 91 dc and 90 1ch-sps along the side edge.

Pick up C14 loop and rep from * along opposite side edge.
